Loyalty that works with your checkout
You do not need to change your till to run a loyalty programme with Unity. Square sellers can apply points straight to open Square orders. With any other till, staff record purchases and redeem points in the Unity Staff app on a phone or tablet.
Two ways to connect
Square POS
Connect your Square account, sync catalogue categories and choose what share of each category can be paid with points. Staff apply the discount to a live Square order. How the Square integration works.
Any other till
Staff find the member by QR code, phone or card number in the Unity Staff app, enter the purchase amount and redeem points as a discount. No POS integration or new hardware is needed.
What a purchase looks like at the till
Identify the member
Scan the QR code on the customer’s wallet card, or search by phone or card number.
Record the purchase
With Square, pick the open order. With another till, enter the amount in the Unity Staff app.
Apply or save the reward
Redeem points as a discount within your rules, or add the cashback to the customer’s balance.
Integration questions
Which tills does Unity integrate with?
Unity integrates with Square. For every other till or payment terminal, staff use the Unity Staff app alongside it, so the programme works without an integration.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. Customers keep a digital card in Apple Wallet or a compatible Android wallet app. Only your staff use the Unity Staff app.
