Reward spend across your menu

A paper stamp card usually rewards a fixed number of purchases. A points-based programme can recognise different basket values, whether a customer orders a coffee, lunch or a meal for the whole table. Unity awards cashback as points and lets customers redeem those points as a discount.

Choose cashback levels that suit your margins. You control sign-up rewards, redemption limits and points expiry. Customer tiers can change automatically as spend grows, so regulars can earn a different reward level without staff maintaining a separate list.

Make joining part of the visit

Place your joining QR code at the counter or on a table. Customers complete the registration form, confirm their phone number and add a card to Apple Wallet on iPhone or a compatible wallet app on Android. The card carries their balance and QR code.

Staff can find a member by QR code, phone or card number in the Unity Staff app. Before launch, rehearse a sign-up, a purchase and a redemption during a demo. A clear explanation at the till matters as much as the reward itself.

Work with Square or your existing till

Unity integrates with Square for payment and transaction data synchronisation. Staff can apply loyalty discounts to live Square orders, with category settings controlling how much can be paid with points. Confirm your exact Square workflow in the demo.

For other tills, the Unity Staff app lets your team add and redeem points on a phone or tablet without a POS integration. Agree who records purchases and check the process during busy service before rolling out to the whole team.

Bring regulars back and measure the result

Referral rewards recognise customers who introduce friends. On the Grow plan, audience segmentation and email, SMS and unlimited push campaigns help you send relevant offers. Choose an audience and check marketing preferences before sending a campaign.

Start with a baseline for repeat visits, reward redemptions and customer spend. Review the cost of rewards alongside return visits; sign-ups alone do not show whether a programme is profitable. Use what you learn to adjust the reward levels and your staff explanation.

How much does it cost?

Start is £49/month for one location with core dashboard metrics and up to two push campaigns per month. Grow is £89/month for one location with segmentation, the Staff Panel, email and SMS campaigns and unlimited push notifications. Scale is £89/month plus £30 for each additional location.
